4 to 7 years of experience in a UX writer role, ideally as part of a product design team
Expertise in content strategy, information architecture, and writing UI text and microcopy
Ability to act as as an advocate for the user while promoting business interests
Demonstrated experience conveying and reinforcing personality, voice, and other brand attributes
Ability to collaborate closely and effectively with designers, product managers, and others
Strong ability to craft content that marries user needs and business requirements
Experience simplifying sophisticated information for nontechnical audiences
Comfort with ambiguity as we scale our team and processes
Capacity to work autonomously with a high degree of ownership
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience with workflow-driven B2C SaaS products
Experience working with cross-functional and international teams
Champion the role of content/writing throughout the organization.
Create in-product content that marries user needs and business requirements
Establish UX writing standards and spearhead initiatives to promote these standards throughout the organization
Streamline processes for creation and review of content to ensure it meets internal standards and industry best practices
Partner with UX researchers to test content and propose additional research to evaluate content
Collaborate with other content writers to drive consistency across products, leveraging voice and brand standards
Partner with members of the design, product, and marketing teams to support new product and feature launches
Participate in user-research sessions, sprints, and workshops
Apply data and user research to content decisions
Receive and incorporate design feedback
Prioritize multiple projects while adapting to changing requirements and meeting tight deadlines
Navigate technical constraints and considerations with an engineering team
