Most Spanish adjectives change their endings to agree with the gender of the nouns they modify. Masculine adjectives usually end in “o” (e.g., “valeroso“), while feminine adjectives generally end in “a” (e.g., “valerosa“). Some adjectives don’t change (e.g., “veloz”).
